Ramona Ranch Winery

Sample handcrafted wines made with grapes from the beautiful vineyards of San Diego County at Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery located in the heart of the Ramona Valley American Viticulture Area (AVA).  Taste award winning reds, a dry rose and interesting whites in our quaint tasting room or on our lovely view tasting terrace, often along with artisan cheese samples.  Family owners/wine-makers Micole Moore and Teri Kerns focus on vineyard specific, single varietal wines like their Double-Gold Estate Tannat, Paccielo Reserve Sangiovese and smooth drinking Cadillac Cab.  White wines include a dry Muscat, Viognier and a newly released Dessert wine called “Indulgence,” made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.  Enjoy our family-friendly atmosphere with horses, goats, chickens, and a steer, in addition to grape vines. Sustainability and honoring our land is important to us.  Planting insect, bird and butterfly zones while installing owl boxes makes our winery more inviting to wildlife and helps us to be greener while saving time in the long run to enjoy time outside.  Native, drought tolerant plants thrive and attract beneficial wildlife while drip irrigation, composting, and hand management of our vineyards results in a balanced crop load and superior wines.  We don’t push our vines to over-produce, believing instead that the long-term effects of thoughtful viticulture and our stewardship will benefit all creatures and our wines to come.  Visit for an afternoon of wine, warm hospitality and amazing views. Open from 11 to 6 pm, Friday – Sunday and by appointment.   Picnics and pet-friendly. Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery is located at 23578 Highway 78.
