Poco Montaña Vineyards & Winery is located on the east side of the Ramona Valley on 16.25 acres. The name Poco Montaña is a Spanish translation of “Little Mountain”. Our microclimate is a bit cooler that the surrounding valley with a curved hillside wrapping around the property. In 2018 we planted 14 wine grape varietals mostly French and Italian, Primitivo, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Barbera, Petite Syrah, Syrah, Petite Verdot, Grenache Noir, Cab Franc, Cab Sauvignon, Merlot, Muscat Ottonel, Viogner and Picpoul Blanc.
We open our tasting room in August of 2024, a cozy, intimate and air conditioned indoor space with an expansive patio surrounded by a sea of succulents. The love of wine and the natural process of winemaking is the driving force behind our adventure. We will soon be offering winemakers dinners and a full array of charcuterie boards.
We are currently open on Saturday from 1pm to 6pm. Pleases join us for a taste of Ramona.
