Effenberger Vineyards is a micro boutique, vineyard focused winery. We’re small and labor intensive.
We grow most of our own fruit and source additional grapes from carefully vetted vineyards.
We farm sustainably, don’t use herbicides or chemical fertilizers and work on building healthy soil for our vines.
We think it pays off in our award winning wines.
We grow red French and Italian varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Sagrantino.
Former radio host and voice actor Michael Berger (Effenberger) is the winemaker, and Roberta Effenberger is in charge of hospitality and paying the bills.
